In order to determine the date of Israel's exit from Egypt, it must be calculated backwards, beginning at the time when the Persian king Cyrus the Great conquered Babylon. This event is well known in both Tanah and secular history, and its history is indisputable. Historians say that the Med and Persian forces under the command of Cyrus captured the city of Babylon in BC. They admit that it was in the year 539.
This event is recorded in Tanah at Daniel 5:30. Various ancient historians (Diodoros, Africanus, Eusebios, Ptolemy and Babylon tablets) Cyrus' Babylon in BC. He agrees that he seized it in 539. Although the Nabonidus Chronicle does not indicate the year of the fall of the city, it does indicate the month and day. Knowing these words very well, Daniel turned to God and asked for help as the end of the "seventy-year" period approached (Daniel 9: 1-3). "Seventy years" BC. Since it ended in the autumn of 537 BC.
